The Comic Strip Presents...

About Meeeeeeeeeee

Well if you haven't already guess by the strategically placed copyright but not really messagey thingy down the bottom of each page my name is Emma.

I'm 25 and live in the West Country (cream teas, surf boarding and all that) with my Rottie x Lab puppy.

I've been a Comic Strip fan for a number of years, but remember watching it avidly growing up. The first one I remember vividly watching was Consuela, I have this memory of Dawn French with the umbrella standing on the balcony. Consuela came out in 1986 which would have made me four. Either I've got a great memory or must have seen it a little while later as a re run, but on the whole, if an episode was on television then we watched it. The Comic Strip went into obscurity for a few years then 4 Men in a Car came along and rekindled my love of The Comic Strip, and I begun to get into it more, probably because I was old enough to appreciate it and support my habit! As the internet has got bigger and with the advent of Ebay I am probably not the first fan to admit paying extortionate prices for Comic strip videos, the worst one for me was paying £50 for Bad News and A Fist Full of Travellers Cheques on VHS, the insult to injury was taking my Comic Strip videos to a boot fair not too long ago and getting 10p each for them! c'est la vie!

Apart from The Comic Strip, I am a massive South Park fan and have been since 1999 when it first hit Channel 4, My non South Park Matt and Trey favourite is Cannibal The Musical. I love older films as well but do not tend to watch anything that is new out. I love watching a film for its story. Films now rely heavily on CGI and 'names' not actors- Two things I cant stand. I also love really bad made for tv movies.

That's it from me,

I hope you enjoy this website,

cheers!
